Nightmare Alive performers dancing under crossing spotlights

Dance · character · spectacle

Fear hasa movement language.

Nightmare Alive! is a Halloween dance show built for the theater: twenty-five to thirty performers, four distinct worlds and choreography that makes each fear move differently.

Movement before explanation

The body knows first.

Every act begins with a physical idea: the rigidity of a skeleton, the hesitation of moving through darkness, the loss of control, or the mechanical repetition of surveillance. Choreography turns those instincts into characters and images large enough to fill the Colony Theatre.

The result sits between a dance concert, theatrical spectacle and live Halloween experience. It is spooky and playful rather than a walkthrough haunt.

Unnerving machines bring the feeling of being watched into the aisles.

Original production

Chaos takes rehearsal.

Costume silhouettes, musical hits, light cues and ensemble formations are designed together so the show reads as one cinematic descent rather than four unrelated routines.
